Barcode

This creation interested me because barcodes were always so simple and so not interesting. They didn't catch one's attention. I figured that it could actually help boost the publicity of a product. So I searched up a few animal photos and products that are connected to those animals. I downloaded them quickly. Then I searched up an image of a barcode. I downloaded that too. Then I put the picture of the animal and barcode making sure the animal was on top and I masked the inner part of the animal. After that I changed the size to fit the barcode and exported it. I repeated this with each animal. Then I opened the product picture and added the picture of the animal masked barcode to it's respective products. Finally I exported it. I actually edited the Daily Create Challenge a bit. It was only just the animal that had to be transfigured and masked but I thought it would be more interesting when actually applied in 'real life'. I also researched the main use of barcodes and it was used in the packaging of products actually so that's where I got the idea to spice things up and use an animal masking for some products. I also used the filtering in google to find line drawings [outlines of animals] so it's easy to select and mask.

Underwater Scene

The Finished Product Abstract : The purpose of my program is to draw an underwater scene that always shows the sand, sunlight, bubbles, the fishes, and the treasure box, and the shipwreck and sometimes draws algae. This was done in a group; I wrote the code for the sand, the treasure box, the algae, and also helped with the partners' sections of code. Every time the program is run, the sunlight will be different in terms of angle and length; there may or may not be algae that is different in angle, size and number of leaves/bushes; there will be a different amount of bubbles in different sizes and the cracks in the ship will be at different angles, sizes, and places. The sand will also be slightly different with different shades at different places. The treasure box will have a different number of coins in slightly different colors and ‘places’ though within a range of x and y. This was done in the Code.Org App Lab programming environment which uses Javascript. Full Reflect...

A Day With My SuperStar : Rick Riordan!!!

Disclaimer: This didn't actually happen. This is actually a project for Web Applications : Editing in GIMP. I can't believe that I'm spending an entire day with my superstar; Rick Riordan!!! He is the author of Percy Jackson, Kane Chronicles and so many more other books!!! They're my favorite books and if you know me, you know that I love my books. So firstly, I asked him to read me a few excerpts from his book. The book although carrying tones does not always have the tone of the author. The tone was extremely emphasized in the way he wanted it when he read it to me which I liked extremely because the author's tone is extremely important. Reading with Rick Riordan [GIMP] After that we watched some movies that I liked a lot. For example: Percy Jackson movies to see what he thinks about it; if it's similar to his way of thinking or not. I also wanted to see some movies related to Ancient Egypt like the Mummy and the Stargate movies. It is very exciting...
